The property has four dwellings; two small cottages for guests, one large house with four/five bedrooms and three bathrooms and a three bedroom cottage. There is an inground pool, an undercover bbq area, a boat ramp and large machinery shed. The property has an orchard with dozens of different fruit trees, extensive gardens and lots of native trees. We see wallabies and koalas on our property and dophins in the river!
Mansfield is just 10 minutes from Taree, a major town in the Manning Valley of NSW. It is close, just15 minutes drive, from excellent surfing beaches and a short drive to national parks and scenic forests. In the past we have had large groups book out the property for various activities. School rowing teams have stayed here when rowing championships are held. Mountain bike teams have stayed as there is a world class mountain bike course just across the road from Mansfield. Healing groups and seminars have also used Mansfield.
Tinonee is an historic town where people deliberately move to, because of the excellent primary school and the picturesque views over the river to the mountains. Taree and Wingham which are the larger towns close to Mansfield, have excellent facilities including award winning cafes, golf courses, bowling clubs, surf lifesaving clubs, a large hospital, education facilities including five high schools, six primary schools and a TAFE campus. The Manning Entertainment Centre attracts great stage shows and the Flair fashion awards and the Eisteddfod are renown for high the standard of entries. The river is a great attraction and sailing competitions, rowing clubs, power boat activities are regularly held in Taree.
The district is a great place to live and Mansfield is a great lifestyle property with future potential. You could use it is as a family meeting place for holidays or for business seminars for your corporation or expand the accommodation business. It also has future potential for subdivision.
