AAA Rated 4 star. Established in 1997 Kentish Hills Retreat is located is Sheffield the Town of Murals with the Majestic Mt. Roland as a wonderful backdrop for the whole Municipality to admire. Kentish Hills Retreat is built on the corner of a working farm and is surrounded by rural countryside and mountain ranges yet only 500 mtrs from the township of Sheffield.
Sheffield is a fast growing tourist town and being the gateway to Cradle Mountain National Park there are plenty of things to see and do in the area that encourage guests to have an extended stay such as:- Discovering the town's history through the numerous murals that adorn the walls in and around the Sheffield area, Lake Barrington Rowing Course, Wineries, Caves, Tasmazia, Wildlife Park, Honey Farm, Museums etc.
Our spacious 12 rooms feature Spa Suite, Standard, Deluxe, Disabled, and Apartments, there is some accommodation here to suit everyone. All of the rooms excluding the 2 x Standard rooms have either a kitchen or kitchenette. All have Queen beds, TV, video, table & chairs, iron, ironing board, some with sofa's some with extra single bed. The 2 x Apartments sleep up to 6 and have 2 x TV's.
Beautiful established gardens, with the gazebo and Barbecue area, being very popular especially during summertime.
The residence is a modern 3 bedroom home with reception/office. Large open plan lounge/dining area and featuring Blackwood in the kitchen, bathrooms, dado in the passage and feature wall in the lounge area. The master bedroom has an ensuite, walk-in wardrobe while the other 2 bedrooms have built-ins. A two car garage with remote control door is accessed from the house.
We have operated the business as a husband & wife team with the help of casual staff and are proud of the great clientele and friendships we have developed over the years.
